Philippians: To Live is Christ
Studies in the book of Philippians
with valuable lessons for our times in five lessons with David Higbee, instructor
Here is one of St. Paul's "Captivity Epistles," written from prison, where his life hung in the balance. Yet this letter is characterized by most profound rejoicing and repeated calls for all Christians to rejoice in Jesus Christ. Paul sets out the secret of a deeper joy that will not disappoint even through all the storms and stresses of one's earthly lot. This is certainly the most joyful and upbeat of all St. Paul's letters. A practical, in-depth study!
