Journeyman 2010
Christianity in America
The threads of Christianity (both Catholic and non-Catholic) in the fabric of American society through the years have formed us as a people. It is a rich story. Ours will be an anecdotal history, aiming to illustrate certain principles and trends and treat some of the key persons and movements which have shaped this history and brought us to where we are today. From the beginning, religious ideas have played a fundamental part in American society. It is fundamental to our American heritage.
We will probably touch on a number of things you never heard in your history classes.
Hopefully this will be a real eye-opener on a number of important ideas.
